Johan De Greef started Saxon Chocolates by making chocolates in his home kitchen.
1995
First chocolate dipped spoon, the product that started it all!
1996
Our first US customer, European Imports becomes Saxons first US customer, selling spoons to speciality food stores nationwide.
The chocolate dipped pretzel is introduced, a new best seller.
And is still a favourite today!
1997
Our first real factory an, old Ford Motor model T Assembly Plant.
2001
Saxon products make their way all the way to Japan and the UK. Selling to Harrod’s in London.
2002
Saxon Chocolates attends it's first Fancy Food Show.
The introduction of decorative tins, places a new emphasis on packaging and gifting.
Peppermint Bark and Caramels are added to the product family
2011
Saxon's Molten Cake mix makes Oprah’s "favourite things" list.
2012
Saxon achieves gold status on its 3rd party HACCP audit, a certification held in every year since.
